Passionate worship: We are a passionate worship community
This goal speaks of our expression of adoration to God. We desire that we express our love and devotion to God in dynamic and passionate manner. Combining a blend of traditional and contemporal approaches, we seek to express our love to God in words and action that reflect our deep love for Him
Loving Compassion: We are a caring and loving Community
We confess that we were poor, alienated, unlovable, orphaned but God through the abundance of His riches has lavished His love on us and adopted us as sons and daughters. In return, He has called us to show the same love to others and especially the orphans, the widows, the poor, the diseased, and the needy. As a church, we strive to meet the needs of the hurting world through the love of Jesus. Through our resources and through a partnership with organizations like Compassion, we continually seek to meet the needs of the neediest. As God will help us, we seek to partner with other organizations like Compassion to help the needy.
Warm Fellowship: We are a family
As one body of Christ we are family. We confess that Jesus is creating unity among racially, ethnically, economically, generationally, married or single, male or female, diverse people. We will honor all people are we seek to build a multi-ethic loving church. We don’t claim perfection. We are all broken and seeking redemption. We are a hospital and not a country club.
Deep Discipleship: We are radical followers of Christ.
Like the first disciples we desire to sit at the teachings of the word. We are a gospel- centered church that we seek to saturate our minds and heart with the transforming word of God. We seek to grow in theological deep, in contrast to the superficial or shallow religion. We pray that as many members will reach the standard of Biblical discipleship. In this regard we desire that our commitment to Christ and His Church will increasingly grow and be manifested in daily lives of our members.
Bold Evangelism: We are passionate about include others into the family of God
We recognize that apart from Christ people are Lost; damned for all eternity. We lament that we have trivialized the Great Commission. The Great Commission must never be become the Great Commission. We pledge to give ourselves to task of spiritual multiplication in our town and beyond.
